July 18, 2017 (Chandler, AZ) – Odysseyware®, a leading provider of customizable online courses for K-12 education, today announced that 94 state-specific core courses have been added to Odysseyware Academy’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) course list in addition to the 34 national courses previously approved.

Odysseyware Academy has gone through program approval through NCAA and is able to offer courses in the core subject areas in addition to advanced placement to help students meet NCAA academic eligibility requirements. The 128 total approved courses include: 29 English, 41 social science, 33 mathematics, 20 science and 5 world languages courses. Several NCAA-approved advanced placement courses are included within these categories as well. Available to all students, Odysseyware courses are customizable with a user-friendly interface designed for self-paced, student-directed learning.

The NCAA's Eligibility Center determines every college-bound student-athlete’s eligibility to practice, play, and earn athletic scholarships in NCAA Divisions I and II. In order to qualify, students must meet specific academic benchmarks starting as early as their freshman year.
