Give a Testimonial Share This Page Give your students the history course they need to prepare for college level coursework with this culture-rich history course. With a focus on the movements and the events that shaped the United States from 1492 through 1977, this course takes high school students on an trek through history from the multiple perspectives of economics, politics, the arts, societal factors, religion and others. Their journey begins with an exploration of America's roots in the original colonies; takes them through the secession, the Civil War, industrialization and the turbulent 60s; and finally wraps up with the new conservative movement.
Although this course is primarily delivered via the computer and includes a number of automated assessment and data management features, it also requires that students complete off-computer exercises including required reading from a traditional textbook. Through internal messaging, calendars, quizzes and testing, students improve their digital literacy, crucial for their collegiate success. This course helps college-bound students prepare for the College Board's AP exams and a future in which they can write their own history.

ODYSSEYWARE is a complete online curriculum solution for schools, and it's geared to meet the needs of all students."
-Quint Pease, SD"With ODYSSEYWARE, students are motivated. It's designed for kids in the 21st century. They're not expected to watch some antiquated video. Instead, they are able to participate in their own instruction through the text and the multimedia elements. That—combined with the fact that they can work at their own pace—helps them stay motivated."
-Scott Davis, TX"I had a chance to build a course for my eighth graders. I love it. I didn't have to go in and edit each individual student! It saved me tons of time. Thanks!!"
