Academically equivalent to a college course, students enrolled in this course should expect a challenge as they practice advanced math skills and learn higher level concepts and problem solving. This course is primarily delivered via the computer but requires an additional textbook and a graphing calculator.
Students will work through a series of technology-rich lessons, beginning with a review of prerequisite material including Fermat's Method, graphs, and trigonometry. Additional topics include derivatives, integrals, and functions. Quizzes and tests are automatically delivered, completed, and graded on the computer, saving teachers valuable time. Internal messaging, calendars, and external links improve communication and digital literacy. Upon successful completion of this challenging course, students should be prepared to take the College Board's AP exam.
